Mya's unique blend of movement, mindfulness, meditation & sound healing creates a sanctuary for rejuvenation, transformation and celebration. With authenticity at its core, her work ignites change through compassion, liberation and truth.

In 2014, Mya began her yoga journey in Tampa, Florida, quickly becoming a cornerstone of Tampa Bay’s holistic wellness scene. She teaches both traditional and modern styles of yoga such as Hatha, Vinyasa, Restorative, Yin, Power, Aerial, Nidra, Pranayama and more. Formerly the Integrative Enrichment Specialist at the Urban Yoga Foundation, Mya assisted with the implementation of mindfulness programs in schools. Now, she holds a residency at BodyHoliday, a luxury wellness resort in Saint Lucia.

Mya’s self-discovery journey has forged her resilience, enabling her to nurture her mind, body, and soul. As the creative force behind Meeyogi LLC, she's your go-to for yoga, wellness, and self-sustainability resources. Guiding thousands of individuals towards mindfulness and holistic well-being, she was inspired by the African proverb, “each one, teach one,” Mya is dedicated to fostering learning and growth. With her diverse background, she’s on a mission to cultivate a more harmonious world through her work.

The yogini has collaborated with yoga studios, universities, womens’ groups, churches and various nonprofits to share her insights on yoga, wellness, and self-sustainability. Notable partnerships include The Allstate Foundation, The University of South Florida, Lululemon, and Athleta.
